Wordless Wednesday -- LOVE (in photos)

Adam has always been a very sweet & affectionate child (when he's not wild & crazy, that is) who happens to give the best hugs, kisses & "nosies". He's really into snuggling these days, too, as in "Mommy, let's snuggle"! It's precious. Here are some photos taken from the last month of Adam spreading his love around...

Adam always gives Grandma BIG HUGS and lots of nosies. She especially loves his "real kisses" now! It's so funny b/c if you ask him for a kiss he'll stop what he's doing and kiss whatever body part is closer... usually your arm. :)

Reading/snuggling with Daddy. As you can see, reading books is HUGE around here! Adam loves to take out all of his books (or as many as we'll allow) and choose his favorites each night.

Adam has A LOT of love to give... especially to his Mommy! He loves giving me multiple kisses a day and says "I love you so much, Mommy"! whenever I leave. When you ask him "how much" he opens up his arms really wide - too cute! If only he knew how much I loved him...

Wordless Wednesday -- What the &%*$?!?

Adam is quite the character! He has me laughing every day with his "antics". Here are a few that I captured this month:

Wearing Mommy's dress... he slipped it on his head and refused to take it off! ;)

We were getting ready to go to the library... I turned around and saw Adam carrying ALL of the library books & DVDs! A side note: you can see that it was time to run an errand since Adam had gone through all of his toys that morning!!! He was very helpful in putting everything away when we got home. =)

We go to this awesome grocery store, Weg.man's, once a week. Adam always gets to pick a decorated cookie when we're there as a "special treat". He chose an apple cookie last week and a jack-o-lantern cookie this week.

Who's that?!? Grandma & Marty bought Adam this funny face when they were in China. The whistle mustache was a huge hit.

Wordless Wednesday -- reading in striped pajamas

Adam continues to enjoy "reading" to us. He'll look at a picture and create a story for each page. He's pretty creative with his tales! He has also memorized some parts of books so of course he'll "read: those lines, too. Here are some pics taken on my phone (apologies for the quality!) of him reading "Danny and the Din.osaur":




Every morning Adam crawls into bed to snuggle with us... and usually falls back asleep for another hour or so. Here's a picture of him snuggling up to Daddy:

Wordless Wednesday: Farewell, sweet summer days

Ahh... the last week of summer has come & gone. We made the most of it and hit Clej.montri Playground... a huge park which Adam enjoyed... but made MOMMY (aka ME) very nervous b/c it's impossible to keep track of your kids there... or take decent pics... but I tried (in vain)...

We also went to the new water playground in Leesburg, which was really nice. They had a cute area for little ones, complete with 2 water slides. Adam was terrified to go down them, though, even though he *really* wanted to. He was worried he would "hit his head" at the bottom... he was so upset and torn about what to do. He used to be scared of regular slides, too, and now goes down them like a pro. He swam around for a while and then we took a "frozen ice" break. Afterwards, Daddy & Adam went in an innertube. However, it wasn't that comfortable and Adam wanted OUT pretty quickly! Steven enjoyed his ride, though. =)

Wordless Wednesday -- "Grandma's Swim & Racquet Club"

Two things that Adam loves to do when he visits Grandma is to play tennis with her -- she bought him a little racquet and they use a balloon -- and go swimming in the neighborhood pool (the same pool I swam in as a kid).
