Passover in Birmingham

We spent Passover in Birmingham with Bobbe & Zaide this week. Adam, my Passover Baby (since he was born 3 days before Passover and had a "Passover Bris") did awesome this year. I was so proud of him! He very proudly sat next to Zaide during the Seder on both nights. He took it *very seriously* and really listened to the Passover story. Well, for the first 30 minutes at least... and then he colored peacefully. :) His favorite part was "hiding the Matzoh (afikomen) from Zaide and getting 5 dollars since he couldn't find it!" - so cute. I also loved it when he said "good job, Mommy" after I read a part of the Seder. He also said "Mommy, you look very pretty in that shirt" when he saw me all dressed up. He is a charmer!!! Here are some pics from the Seder... not too many since it's apparently a faux pas to take photos at the Seder. ;) The little girl next to him is Ellie Mac (or, as Adam spells it, L E MAC), Pam's sweet granddaughter who colored with him. There were 2 great Seders filled with delicious kugels and Matzah Ball Soup (which Adam enjoyed)! :)

Adam says... 3 year old edition

Matzoh Making & blueberry pankcakes for dinner!

Adam's 4th Birthday Party (in photos)!

Little Love's 4th birthday party was a couple of weeks ago and was so very fun. We had a "Find.ing Ne.mo" theme (Adam's favorite movie) and Ms. Nichole from KinderDan.ce joined us again for dancing/obstacle course/parachute fun. We finished the party with pizza and birthday cake. We used the banquet room at the rec center across the street... a perfect location except for the 5K they were hosting that morning (Wow... is all I will say... I'm just glad I didn't pass out from stress when I wasn't allowed in to the rec center - due to the 5K - that morning. OMG!). Fortunately, the race was over by the time the party began and the rest of the party went off without a hitch... all's well that end's well, right?!? ;) The only thing missing was Grandma (who was at Aunt Hillary (to be) Bridal Shower) and Bobbe & Zaide. Marty was there to represent the grandparents! :)

Here are the goody bags... check out the label! :) Adam literally stuffed all the goody bags himself... goldfish, Ne.mo fruit snacks, a lollipop, sunglasses with fish on them, bubbles with a fish top, fish stamp, Ne.mo sticker & Ne.mo tattoo. I get really into the goody bags! :)

The afternoon ended with LOT of wonderful presents to open. Adam was very into his birthday cards this year and looked for his name on each card. After opening each present, he wanted to play with it... so the opening presents act took a long time! :) Immediate hits were the Magna Ti.les from Marty and the Thom.as the Train re.mote from Riley. That being said, Adam LOVED all of his presents! :)

All in all, a great day. When I asked Adam what the best part of his birthday was, he replied "chasing Roshan with the balloons" and "My Nemo cake". Sounds like a successful party to me. :)

P.S. More pics from his actual birthday coming soon! :)
